GREASED LIGHTNING

Grease is the word...is the word...is the word...is the word..

OPENING NIGHT WAS AMAZING!

We played to a nearly full house at the Civic Theatre (which is pretty fantastic for opening night!) and the crowd response and applause was so rewarding after all this hard work!

Now I know you all would have had tickets if you could/if you were in the country! So I took a few sneaky photos backstage and between costume changes so that you could see a little bit of 'Grease' :)

YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT

I thought it was about time to jump back on the bloging bandwagon so that my long distance love's could keep up with my latest adventure...Grease the musical which opens in exactly 1 week at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle!

We have been rehearsing between 2-4 times a week for about 3 months, and I have been loving EVERY second :D

JUNE

Rehearsals started with a "car rally" as a get to know you activity. We didn't win, but we we're certainly the best dressed (and being the best dressed is all that matters...right?)

JULY

Then on the 27th of July, the movie cinema at Glendale held a 'chicks at the flicks' night with a Grease sing-a-long as the theme, so we suprised them with a live performance of "You're the one that I want" and "Grease"!
